To strengthen air defense, the formation of new units in which military personnel are involved is at the same time continuing.
Information about the facts of mass transfer of specialists from air defense units to infantry is not true. This was announced by a representative of the general staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Andrei Kovalev, Interfax-Ukraine report.
“For high quality understanding of military units that require restoring the effectiveness of the battle, the military personnel of the air-defense units of the land forces of the armed forces of Ukraine, whose military specialties are not critical for the preparedness of their units’ battle, has been replaced by other positions in accordance with their specialty-studies specialty,” said.
Kovalev emphasized that this does not apply to specialized air defense specialists that provide protection to the Ukrainian sky.
“At the same time, all the narrow profiles that specialize in air defense, especially those who serve the posts of high-tech specialties, specialists of automatic control systems, computer equipment, BPL specialists, interceptors and overseas travelers in foreign weapons and military equipment received from the country’s partners who remain in their positions Representative of the general staff explained.
According to him, to strengthen the air defense, the development of new units in which military personnel pass the appropriate retirement and receive the necessary skills involved working in modern air defense systems at the same time continuing.
“That is, on the contrary, the process of transferring from posted Infantry posts of” shooters “to the positions of UAVS/Drum pilots/drum pilots are often observed. It will allow you to more effectively protect the sky of Ukraine and cover Ukrainian cities,” Kovalev said.
We remind, earlier in the air forces they denied the transfer of difficult engineering and avia service specialists to units of other genera and Ukraine’s armed forces.
