Ukraine plans and the Russian Federation to reunite families in September

Russia and Ukraine plan to take steps to reunite families who have suffered from a full war. The organization of such steps was planned at the beginning of September, whether the parties should fix the necessary logistics, safety issues and interaction with human organizations. It was reported by Rossmi that there was a reference to the Commissioner for Human Rights at the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova.

According to information, the Russian Ombudsman said we are talking about eight families we want to reunite. The process is complicated by a number of bureaucrat and technical issues, such as expired passports or the need to draw other documents. Particular attention is paid to older people, as they need to ensure travel, medical care, as well as cooperation with the International Red Cross Committee. According to him, the parties agreed to conduct a number of reunion in September.

Russia’s side emphasizes that successful implementation of the process requires a thorough coordination of interstate issues, coordination with humanitarian organizations and compliance with all safety measures.

Earlier, on August 25, Tatyana Moskalkova announced a meeting with the office representative of the Authorized Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights through the Belarusian side. In a conversation, issues were discussed in the reunion of families and the exchange of letters from war inmates for their loved ones was fixed.

Recently, Ukraine has repeatedly returned its citizens from Russian captivity. On August 24, it is possible to return the military personnel to the Armed Forces, the National Guard, Border Guards, as well as civilians.
