Ukraine received another 4.05 billion euros of help.
Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko announced this today, August 22.
It is noted that from this amount:
- 1 billion euros is provided in the framework of loans of ERA, financed from frozen Russian assets;
- 3.05 billion euros in the framework of the Ukrainian Faciness Facines tool for restoration and integration.
This support strengthens both the state budget and the reconstruction process, ”the Prime Minister emphasized. – I thank European partners. Together we are confident in the future of Ukraine in strong and United Europe.
The press service of the Ministry of Finance reports that these funds will be aimed at basic social and humanitarian expenses.
It is noted that within Ukraine for 2024–2027. In Ukraine, there are about 50 billion euros for Ukraine (38.27 billion euros – direct budget support). In total, since 2024, more than 22.6 billion euros have been received.
In 2025 alone, it is planned to attract about 12.5 billion euros, of which more than 6.5 billion euros have already been received in the state budget, the department says.
The ERA mechanism includes $ 50 billion in Ukraine, which provide income from frozen assets of Russia. The contribution to the EU is 18.1 billion euros ($ 20 billion). In total, as part of the ERA initiative, the Ministry of Finance has already attracted 9 billion euros from the European Union.
The European Union remains the largest financial support donor of Ukraine – 57.5 billion euros in 3.5 years. For 8 months of 2025, the country received more than 15.5 billion euros from the EU, ”the Ministry of Finance added.
