The US National Intelligence is prohibited from transferring Washington to Washington Allies about peace negotiations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. The associated directive was published by the Director of Scout Tulsey Gabbard, according to CBS News on Thursday, August 21.
The publication record that in the July 20 memorandum, signed by Gabbard, was ordered not to share information with the Intelligence Alliance “Five Eyes”. We talk about the Alliance, created after World War II and includes five countries: the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

The memorandum also limits the spread of materials associated with peace negotiations, departments that have prepared or provide intelligence.
At the same time, the publication note that the document, apparently, does not interfere with the exchange of diplomatic data collected by other procedures (non -US intelligence), and does not prohibit exchanging military operations that are not related to negotiations. This includes information that the United States shares with Ukraine military to support defense operations.

He added that it is important for allies to have a “general picture of intelligence” so that politicians and entrepreneurs “can coordinate their positions and end the most visible transactions or perform the most profitable war.”
