Russian marines refuse to return to Ukraine to fight.
Thus, 200 Marines of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet refused to return to the war in Ukraine. This led to problems in recruiting new units. This was announced on July 31 by a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitsky, in a commentary to Krym.Realii.
What became negative for the Russian command? The fact that about two hundred servicemen of the 810th brigade refused to return to the territory of southern Ukraine. And this was such a significant problem, which, according to our data, delayed the process of restoration and combat coordination of the battalion tactical group, which were carried out in May, he noted.
The representative of the GUR added that, despite this, the BTG was formed and now it is in the south of Ukraine and is fighting. But now these units lack combat potential, combat experience and those specialties that are critical for such tactical groups.
And the task of the 810th brigade itself is to conduct naval, assault offensive operations and simply assault operations. But the combat potential of the entire brigade is sharply reduced in the absence of trained specialists and a clear coordination of the unit.
Recall, the GUR reported that the Russian invaders withdrew personnel and equipment to other positions after attacks on the location of their forces inflicted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the night of July 29 near the villages of Verkhniy Tokmak and Chernigovka, Zaporozhye region.
