It was reported that the matter was defended by two shell systems and a thor, but it did not prevent a blow and a large fire.

On the night of August 21, the drones raided the territory of the Rostov region, allegedly strokeing the Novoshtinsky Oil Refinery. It was reported by local resources and publications.

First, the district residents heard a loud explosion near the plant, and then recorded hits in its territory. People appeared on social networks, showing fire.

Russian Telegram channel Astra, who positions himself as independent, reports five explosions to Russian Novoshtinsky and published the video “Prolotes” and the consequences.

The Exilenova+ Telegram Channel also reports the defeat of the Novoshakhtinsky oil product factory and indicates that the matter was defended by two shells and a trip, but it has not helped.

Details about the current consequences of the blow are still defined. Russian services and authorities have not commented on the incident.

Novoshakhtinsky refinery specializes in the production of fuel oil, diesel, ship and fuel fuel, as well as direct -fuel -its capacity gives you to process up to 7.5 million tons of oil annually. This is the single oil refinery in the Rostov region that provides the needs of Russian armed forces.

Note that the company is not the first to be the object of attack. Earlier, the drones, maybe under the SBU leadership, were overloaded the plant air defense system, creating conditions for further actions of Ukrainian missile forces. Then this operation became part of a comprehensive attack on a strategic object.

The Russian Federation loses 13% of the capacity of refineries due to drones
