A group of precious metals got out of Mukachevo

In the Transcarpathian region, the smuggling scheme of precious metals – platinum, palladium and rhodium at the amount of more than 11 million UAHs are expressed. This was announced by the Office of the Prosecutor General on Tuesday, August 19.

“The investigation founded that the entrepreneur organized a method of illegal collection, processing and crossing catalysts abroad, which included platinum, palladium, rhodium and other precious metals. For this, he bought the former parts, crushed them and brought them to construction bags,” the report said.

The entrepreneur attracts two more people to carry goods – a carrier and a driver who must deliver goods throughout the state border.

But in the custom post, Mukachevo was detained by law enforcement officials. During the search, 100 bags of crushed catalysts with a total weight of more than 2.2 tons were found. The cost of the seized is estimated to be more than 11 million UAH.

All three defendants were informed of the suspicion of a finished smuggling attempt (part 2 of Article 15, part 2 of Article 201-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Earlier in Transcarpathia, 7.5 thousand smuggled toys Labubu was seized. Customs officials have drawn a protocol in violation of customary policies related to an entrepreneur from the Volyn region.

And in the LVIV region they seized smuggling worth more than 30 million UAHs. Then it was about the road -Apple and Samsung Galaxy smartphones, 19500 liquid units for electronic cigarettes, 359 bottles of spirits of different brands.
