Turkey announced the start of grain exports from Ukraine

The dry cargo ship Razoni carrying corn will leave Odessa for Lebanon as part of the “grain corridor” on the morning of August 1.

The first ship with grain will leave the port of Odessa on Monday, August 1, at 8.30 am Kyiv time. This was announced by the Turkish Ministry of Defense on Twitter.

It was learned that the Razoni dry cargo vessel under the flag of Sierra Leone, loaded with corn, was leaving for Lebanon.

The corresponding agreement was reached as a result of the intensive work of the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul, the ministry asserted.

As part of the “Safe Shipment of Grain and Food from Ukrainian Ports” initiative, signed between Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the UN on July 22, it is planned to sail other ships within the established corridors and methods, the Ministry of Defense asserted. .
