The United Nations leadership position on Russia’s war against Ukraine remains unchanged.
Prior to the Summit in Alaska, UN secretary Antoniu Gutherrish welcomed the highest level of dialogue between two permanent members of the Security Council and Russia, but emphasized the need for immediate stop in Ukraine. The press secretary of the UN Secretary General Stefan Duzharrick said, reported by the Ukrinform.
“We didn’t bet … We really accept the highest level of communication between the two members of the Security Council,” he said.
According to Duzharrik, the position of the UN leadership in the Russian war against Ukraine remains unchanged.
