The US president believes he deserves an award in the world that the winners choose the Parliament of Norway.

Last month, American president Donald Trump suddenly called the Norway Jens Stoltenberg’s finances minister to discuss trade duties, as well as his desire to receive the world’s Nobel Prize. In the first instance, the Norwegian newspaper Dagens næringsliv on Thursday, August, was announced about the call, later confirmed this information by the politico official in Oslo.

The publication note is that this is not the first time Trump raised the topic of the prize in a conversation with Stoltenberg.

In the Politico commentary, Stoltenberg, who was the former NATO secretary, confirmed Trump’s call. According to him, it was, in particular, about the duties and economic cooperation, but he refused to go to the details of the content of the conversation.

The publication’s note that Trump’s meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin, who will take place on Friday in Alaska, may be a certain test for his chance to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, as any breakthrough or mistake in resolving a conflict in Ukraine may affect his reputation as a peacemaker.

Each year, the Norwegian Nobel Committee chose laureates from the road -candidates. Five members were appointed by the Parliament of Norway according to the Swedish industrialist instructions in the 19th -century Alfred Nobel. The winners are announced every October in Oslo.

Many countries, including Israel, Pakistan and Cambodia, have appointed Trump’s candidacy for his role through peace agreements or the ceasefire after his return to the presidency in January.

Trump illustrates his merit by reducing the tension between Indian and Pakistan’s nuclear powers after the arguments at the beginning of this year, and last week he received Armenia and Azerbaijan leaders in Washington to discuss the completion of a long -term contradiction.

“They will not give me the world’s Nobel Prize,” Trump complained in February during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Oval Office. “Sorry. I deserve it, but they won’t give it to me.”

In a briefing on July 31, White House spokesman Caroline Levitt said the time had come a long time for Trump to receive this award.

Remember that on Wednesday, the White House said Trump would apply for the world’s Nobel Prize, as the seven countries had appointed his candidacy.

Also, the American billionaire candidate Ilon Mask was also appointed to the Nobel Prize for “contributing to the defense of freedom of speech and human rights.”
