According to the investigation, the suspects created the “Second Ukraine” project and promoted narratives about the Kremlin. In particular:
- Distributed publications in which Russian armed aggression was justified;
- called for changes within the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine;
- They lit national and religious enmity;
- Other materials were distributed in support of the state of the aggressor.
SBU noted that she spoke with these persons involved in various sources, including the testimony of the “political expert” from Medvedchuk Medvedchuk Kirill Molchanov, who was detained in Poland this year. Now he is arrested in Kyiv and collaborates with the investigation.
Kirill Molchanov worked simultaneously on the two special services of the country of the aggressor: FSB and foreign intelligence of the Russian Federation. As part of the criminal proceedings, it was found that one of his “direct contacts” was the first deputy fifth of the FSB General General -Federation of the Russian Federation. The corresponding correspondence was found on the suspect’s phone, ”said SBU.
It is noted that Molchanov himself also organized street actions in the EU in the interests of the Kremlin, where he called for a reduction in international support of Ukraine.
According to the file, Viktor Medvedchuk was personally controlled. In particular, he agreed to create a friend of Ukraine directly with Putin, after which the head of the Kremlin instructed the FSB to coordinate this project, ”said SBU.
It is noted that Medvedchuk formed his own “personnel” “Second Ukraine”, it included the highest leadership and propagandists through the channels of the former department unit. Most of them went to the Russian Federation at the beginning of a full -fledged war.
According to Medvedchuk, they prepared and distributed anti -Ukrainian content through controlled telegrams, hosting video on YouTube and the Foreign Rups of the Kremlin “Voice of Europe”), for which thanks to the cooperation of the SBU and the Czech Republic, ECCSA.
