The Russian army supports attempts to move inland with air strikes. Through such actions, the invaders are trying to create additional pressure on the defense of Ukrainians.
The enemy spares no attempts to improve the tactical situation for the sake of attacking Bakhmut and neighboring settlements on the border of the Luhansk and Donbass regions. This was reported by the head of the military administration of the Luhansk region, Sergei Gaidai.
“The Russian infantry was supported by the attack and aviation of the army. Thus, air strikes were recorded near seven cities and villages on July 30. The enemy focused its efforts on hitting the facilities and infrastructure of military, leaving communities without gas and electricity,” Gaidai said.
According to him, the positions of the Ukrainian troops were fired along the entire line of confrontation. Four missile attacks were carried out in the region, 15 artillery attacks were carried out, three more – using mortars, the enemy used multiple rocket launchers five times, and three tank attacks were carried out.
“The Russians want to tie up the defense actions so that we don’t have the opportunity to rotate or reinforce other areas. Also yesterday, our fighters discovered and neutralized one of the Russian reconnaissance groups, ” added the head of OVA.
At the same time, the enemy’s aviation group conducts systematic combat operations to support the actions of the ground groupings.
Gaidai also said that in Severodonetsk, where the occupiers promised to fix the electricity supply within a month and a half, the first TV set finally started working.
“True, it can be found on board a car that moves in crowded places, broadcasts only one channel, which the authorities want to cover, and works irregularly,” Sergey Gaidai summed up.
It will be remembered that in the past day, on July 30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine rejected the attack of the enemy in different directions.
