The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said his plan for the end of the war provides for the ceasefire, then the negotiations through the intercession of the US and clear security guarantees. He said this in a conversation with journalists, Ukrinform reports.
“My plan (end of the war – ed.) Is not complicated. It is very simple: ceasefire (ceasefire – ed.) And during the cease we should discuss and resolve issues through the United States and with understandable security guarantees – who can guarantee?
According to him, for tomorrow, August 13, the extensive negotiations of European leaders and the United States representatives have been planned.
“Tomorrow we will talk to the people, along with the American side and I will definitely report that sensitive issues about Ukraine need to be discussed in the presence of Ukraine,” the President said.
He also emphasized that Europe should be present in the future negotiation process.
“Having in one form or other Europe is very important, because ultimately no one, except Europe, does not give us guarantees, even financially, financially the needs of our army, which is a guarantee of security,” Zelensky emphasized.
