Ermak and Rubio went to the positions for the summit in Alaska

The head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak held a telephone conversation with the US Secretary of State and the acting advisor to US president in national security Marco Rubio. He was announced on Monday night, August 11, he told his Telegram channel.

During communication, Yermak learned about active contact with international partners, especially at a meeting with the US Vice President Jay Di Wence. The parties agreed with the usual positions on the eve of a number of important diplomatic decisions scheduled for this week.

Ermak emphasized that the top priority for Ukraine is to establish a fair and long -world world, indicating an unconditional ceasefire as a necessary condition for constructive negotiations. In addition, he noted the importance of increasing pressure in Russia for the sake of its true actions in this direction.

The head of the President’s office expressed gratitude to President Donald Trump’s leadership for efforts to end the Russian war against Ukraine, and also thanked the American people for continued support and assistance.

Separately, Ermak thanked the US president’s special representative in Ukraine, General Keith Kellogue for his unshakable support for Ukraine.

Remember that on Wednesday a telephone conversation between European leaders, Ukraine president Vladimir Zelensky and US leader Donald Trump planned. This call will take place on the eve of the White House leader’s meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on Friday in Alaska.
