The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has stated that there is no difference between Russian diplomats calling for the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war and Russian soldiers doing so.
The Russian embassy’s call to execute Ukrainian defenders from the Azov Regiment shows that there is no difference between Russian diplomats and Russian war criminals. This was announced on Saturday, July 30, by the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Oleg Nikolenko in Twitter.
Thus, he commented on the call of the Russian embassy in Britain to execute the Ukrainian military.
“Read this when you are told that Russia cannot be isolated. There is no difference between Russian diplomats calling for the killing of Ukrainian prisoners of war and Russian troops doing it in Yelenovka. They are all complicit in the this war crime,” Nikolenko wrote.
He emphasized that they should all be held accountable for their crimes.
Remember, the Russian Embassy in the UK said that the Ukrainian servicemen from the Azov Regiment “deserved a shameful death” – hanging. The message of the appeal was published on Twitter by the Russian embassy.
Recall that on July 29, the Russian invaders committed a terrorist act in a prison in Yelenovka, where they kept captive Ukrainian soldiers, including those from Azov. 53 people died and dozens more were injured. Moscow claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly hit their own soldiers from HIMARS, but, for example, the Institute for the Study of War rejects this version.
