Despite the sanctions, the Russian explosive plant was able to buy Siemens equipment.
The Boysky Oleum explosive enterprise (BOZ) from Southern Siberia received Siemens equipment to automate production through the Russian company Technoprib. This company acquires industrial equipment from Chinese distributors. This was reported by Reuters.
Journalists found that in October 2022 this plant concluded an agreement with the Pribory Tech on the purchase of industrial automated Siemens Simatic Systems. The equipment was sent by Chinese companies Huizhou Funn Tek and New Source Automation Co., LTD, which are intermediaries in the supply of technologies to Russians from the West.
Meanwhile, the representative of Siemens said that the company strictly complies with sanctions and requires customers. Nevertheless, he admitted that some goods can reach the country of the aggressor without their knowledge.
We will recall that in July the Main Directorate of Momrandom Intelligence on MOUN presented to foreign diplomats that Russian weapons contained Western components that came to the Russian Federation, despite sanctions. The military and sanctions were launched to combat sanctions in Ukraine, which should help track how Western components fall into Russian weapons.
