The head of the construction company reported suspicion of seizing 28.4 million UAH during the restoration of the museum in Kherson. This was announced on August 4 by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, in April 2021, the suspect, who led a construction company from Odessa, received a contract for overhaul and restoration of the Kherson Regional Art Museum named Alexei Shovkinenko. The contract ended with one of the Kherson Regional Administration departments.
In December 2021, he submitted actions with a high quantity of work. Thus, the suspect owns budget funds to the volume of UAH 28.4 million, and they are subsequently legalized by transferring various business creatures to accounts.
As for officials of the Kherson Regional State Administration, pre -trial investigation materials were allocated to a separate criminal continuation and sent to Jurisprudence in NABU.
Keep in mind that representatives of the Kyiv Council have reported, awarding 300,000 UAH of budget funds during the area’s privatization.
It was also reported that the case of general communal corporation Director Kievavtodor and his accomplices were transferred to court. According to the investigation, they took nearly 5.8 million UAHs during the repair of the road to capital.
