Russia is trying to develop a circle of support in the international arena, to influence political, economic and military processes.
Russia is trying to expand its influence on Latin America, hiding behind cultural and educational cooperation. This was reported by the Center for Combating Disinformation on Sunday, August 3.
Thus, on July 31, in the capital of Cuba – Havana – the celebration of the Russian cinema, organized with the help of Russian state structures – Roskino and the Ministry of Culture, began.

As part of the festival, Russian films will show Cubans, most of which contain “traditional values”, that is, they are propaganda.
“These tapes justify war, glorify the Russian army and cultivate wrath in the West,” the CPD explained.
And they added that even though Russia puts the initiatives such as the “part of the cultural dialogue”, it is actually a Kremlin propaganda tool.
“The Russian Federation is trying to build a circle of support in the international arena, to influence political, economic and military processes,” the center warned in the middle.
Earlier, the center reported that the Russian Federation was promoting such a “cultural expansion” of the Russian Federation in many regions of the world, especially in Latin America.
Earlier it was learned that Russia was planning to double the presence of representatives of private military companies (PMC) in African countries.
