The head of the White House commented on his decision to send two atomic submarines to the “corresponding” regions after threats from Russia.
U.S. president Donald Trump said his country is fully ready for a nuclear war in Russia. He said this on Friday, on August 1, answering a journalist’s question about sending nuclear submarines, the Clash Report reported.
Journalists asked him a question on the Southern lawn of the White House, in particular, they asked about a post in which Trump wrote that he ordered two “atomic” submarines in positions.
“Well, we have to do it. We just have to be careful. The threat sounds, and we thought it was not right. Therefore, I had to be careful. And I was doing it based [интересов] the security of our people. The threat of the former President of Russia is sound, “Trump said.
He emphasized that the United States would “protect people”:
“Medvedev spoke about nuclear weapons, if we were talking about nuclear weapons, we should be prepared. We are fully prepared,” Trump completed.
As you know, between the current president of the United States and the former head of Kremlin Dmitry Medvedev, there is a network doubt. The scandal began with the fact that the head of the American State announced his desire to reduce the ultimatum for Putin to force him to end a worldwide agreement in Ukraine to 10-12 days.
Medvedev then said that Trump was “performing the game of ultimatums in Russia”, but I should remember that the Russian Federation is “not Israel and not even Iran.” He also added that “every new ultimatum is a threat and one step toward war.”
Trump responded to Medvedev’s threats about a possible war between the Russian Federation and the United States and advised him to obey the words.
On August 1, Trump said he ordered to send two atomic submarines to the “corresponding” regions in case the “nuclear” threats of some Russian officials were not simple chatter.
