The representative of the office of the Russian Foreign Ministry wanted a “shameful death” for the Ukrainian defenders.
The aggressor country’s embassy in the UK said the Ukrainian servicemen from the Azov Regiment “deserved a shameful death.” The message of the appeal was published on Twitter by the Russian embassy.
“The fighters of Azov deserve execution, but not by shooting, but by hanging, because they are not real soldiers. They deserve a shameful death,” said the Russian embassy in a statement.
Twitter flagged the post as inciting hate and violating the social network’s rules.
💬#Azov the militants deserve to be killed, but death not by firing squad but by hanging, because they are not real soldiers. They deserve a shameful death.
