Pilots, along with anti-aircraft gunners, continue to control Ukraine’s airspace, the commander in chief said.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny posted a video showing the work of the Ukrainian aviation. The video was posted on Zaluzhny’s Facebook page on July 30.
“In the first weeks of the war, the Air Force aviation created a real hell for the enemy in the Ukrainian sky. Today, our pilots, together with the soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile forces, continue to control the airspace , forcing the enemy who refuses to approach our borders,” the message said.
The Russian Aerospace Forces are a nightmare not only in the sky, but also from the ground. The previous day, Ukrainian paratroopers shot down another Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Donetsk region.
