The invaders killed dozens of captured defenders of Ukraine
Russia announced the death of dozens of Ukrainian prisoners, including defenders of Mariupol Azovstal, during the shelling of a prison in Yelenovka in the uncontrolled part of the Donetsk region. According to “DNR”, 53 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed, another 75 were wounded.
The occupiers accused Ukraine of attacking the colony, while many testimonies indicated that the explosion happened inside the area.
Kyiv claims that in this way the occupiers hid traces of the torture and killing of prisoners of war, and called on the international community to intervene.

The Verkhovna Rada introduced a ban on raising gas and heat tariffs for the population. The decision was supported by 260 people’s representatives. The moratorium will be in effect during martial law in Ukraine and six months after.
The bill also provides for attracting international financial support for the gas market for UAH 125 billion instead of UAH 188 billion, as previously planned.
Five people were killed in the attack on Nikolaev
Troops of the aggressor country fired from MLRS at a public transport stop where there were people. As a result, five civilians died, 12 people were hospitalized with injuries, seven of them were in serious condition.

Canada approves $351 million allocation to Ukraine
Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance announced that Canada will provide Ukraine with an additional $351 million in a soft loan, bringing the total loan from Ottawa to $1.131 billion. The funds will be directed to the state budget to finance priority expenditures.
