Such citizens can sign a contract within 1 year, however, they set a trial period within two months.
President Vladimir Zelensky has signed a law according to which military service for a spontaneous contract for citizens aged 60 and older is allowed. This was proven by the DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT on the Verkhovna Rada website on Tuesday, July 29th.
The law provides for the possibility of signing annual contracts to people aged 60+ during martial law with the permission of the unit commander. For officials, 60+ will need to receive coordination from the general staff of the Ukraine armed forces.
Thus, citizens aged 60, recognized by the Military Medical Commission, suitable for health reasons for military service, can be accepted for positions:
-
ordinary, sergeant or foreman;
-
Junior or senior officers (given that these people were removed from the military service after January 1, 2015).
Such citizens can sign a contract within 1 year, but they have set a test within two months. In addition, the contract may interfere with the particularly related recognition of a soldier in a way that the test has not been passed, and due to the official inconsistencies.
As you know, on February 11, the Ministry of Defense launched a voluntary contract 18-24. It provides for young volunteers a significant financial reward, professional battle training according to NATO standards and significant social guarantees.
Government confirmed deferred project participants 18-24 after service
