On Friday, July 29, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavel Kirilenko, released a video of the consequences of the Russian strike on Bakhmut. The video was posted on the governor’s Facebook page.
The city was attacked on 28 July.
“The Russians launched an airstrike on the city and fired four times from Hurricanes. Their goal was to destroy as many peaceful Ukrainians as possible and sow panic,” Kirilenko said.
Eight people became victims of the invaders – three dead and five wounded.
The head of the OVA calls on residents of the region who are not involved in the work of critical infrastructure to leave the region.
Earlier, experts at the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) predicted that the Russian invaders of the Donetsk region would continue their attempts to advance in the direction of Bakhmut.
