The Belarusian dictator Oleksandr Lukashenko may be involved in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet, which occurred on July 20, 2016 in Kyiv as a result of a car research.
This is evidenced by the results of the investigation of the initiative of BYPOL – the unification of former law enforcement officers of Belarus, who do not support Lukashenko’s regime.
It is noted that the former employee of the Belarusian Special Service contacted a few months ago.
The source said that Pavel Sheremet was killed at the request of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, and the performers were officers of the special unit of the Alpha KGB, the investigation said.
Bypol conducted a further investigation that includes other sources.
Pavel Sheremet was a personal enemy of Alexander Lukashenko, who, as we know, are extremely vindictive and forgive anyone, – emphasize in Baypol.
It should be noted that Lukashenko’s disgust to Sheremet began in 1996, when the journalist published a report on smuggling on the Belarusian Lituan border and unprofessionality of the Belarusian border guards.
With the help of this report, Pavel laid a personal image, because it was in the border troops that the dictator himself was, ”said in Bypol.
Subsequently, Sheremet became the author of a number of other investigations of Lukashenko, including political killings in Belarus. In 2010, Sheremet was deprived of Belarusian citizenship.
As we see, Lukashenko’s motive really was, ”Bayupol emphasizes.
The BYPOL source called one of the possible participants in the crime – Vyacheslav Sidorazin. According to investigators, he was recruited to a special group of Belarusian KGB, created for “special tasks” abroad.
According to BYPOL, Sidorazin traveled to Ukraine three times in 2016 – from March 13 to March 17 from April 13 to June 12 to June 12.
Although at that moment Sidoracein was not officially in Ukraine, investigators say that a man who was noticed at night before the murder near the Sheremet car, visually similar to Sidoracein, and a woman next to him, who established explosive explosive substances.
Since 2017, after the murder of Sheremet, she was dismissed, but continues to participate in operational work.
