Aeroflot was a massive hacker attack.
On Monday morning, July 28, at least 49 flights from Sheremetyevo Moscow Airport were canceled in Aeroflot. In particular, flights to Yekaterinburg, Cheliabinsk, Stavropol, mineral waters, several flights to St. Petersburg, as well as to Minsk, Yerevan and a number of other Russian cities were canceled. This is indicated on the page of the Russian company on Telegram.
Aeroflot notes that their experts are working on the restoration of services. At the same time, the Russians do not say what caused weapons. They say only a “technical failure in the work of information systems.”
However, as it turned out, the reason for the suspension of Aeroflot was a hacker attack. The responsibility for this was captured by the Silent Crow and Cyberparticles hackers, who stated that as a result of several months of work they were able to penetrate the corporate network and gain access to the line of flight history and personnel management systems, as well as telephone conversations within the company.
During the cyber attacks, thousands of airlines “all critical corporate systems are jealous” and are in control of the personal computers of the company’s management, it was possible to destroy.
Meanwhile, the Office of Russia of the Prosecutor General opened a criminal case on unauthorized access to computer information.
We recall that in July Cyberfachivtsi Gur attacked the infrastructure of the Russian company Gazprom. Hackers of Ukrainian military intelligence managed to destroy large volumes of data, backup copies, databases of subsidiaries, as well as analytics of pipelines and technical systems. Servers, including those responsible for managing the infrastructure, were damaged.
