SBU was trapped by 15 merchants “trophy” weapons

Security Service has prevented new attempts to promote the illegal sale of “trophy” weapons and ammunition in Ukraine. In the metropolitan, south and western regions of our state, 15 businessmen are confined. This was announced by SBU personally, on Monday, July 28.

Among the people seized from the defendants were Russian pomegranate arsenals, sniper rifles, machine guns and 9 kg of explosives.

So, In Kyiv Three “collectors” weapons were identified, which exported weapons from the areas of the former front -lus battles –lined areas for sale in capital. During the search for customers, they kept defeat methods, especially Kalashnikov’s engine guns in their apartments and specially rented garage boxing.

In Chernivtsi Three other participants in an organized criminal group were detained, who had tried to sell a manu -anti -tank granade launcher and 35 TNT checkers with fuses and electric depositors.

In the Kherson region A resident of the Berislavsky district was declared, previously convicted of the robbery and businessman, which subsequently “re -qualified” an underground trader. He arranged a cache in the basement of his house, where he maintained grenades and anti -tank mine for additional sales.

In the Carpathian Defenders are confined from regional and regional regions, looking for criminal people to implement three dozen grenades of fragmentation.

In Chernigov Law enforcement officials have identified five more sellers. Among them is a 38 -Year -old person who delivers prison deadlines for theft and drug trafficking and is in a pre -trial detention center for new stages of crimes.

While arrested, the recidivist attracted the accomplices for the sale of weapons, which they exported from the former quarrel regions, and then hid in cache during the search for customers.

Currently, all detainees have reported suspicion. The attacks are in custody. They face up to seven years in prison.

Keep in mind that law enforcement officials have confined a soldier who has tried to sell the weapon, which is in balance of his military unit in the Donetsk region.

Earlier, the SBU stopped four sellers who illegally exported weapons from the regions of former military operation and tried to sell criminals.
