The KGB agent spying behind the northern Ukrainian border.
In Volyn, counterintelligence SBU detained an agent of the Belarusian special service, which spied on Ukrainian troops. The 24-year-old local unemployed worked in KGB, which was ordered to control the location of the checkpoints and the strengthening of defense forces on the northern border of Ukraine. The Security Service of Ukraine reported this in Telegram.
Also, at the request of the KGB, the attacker tried to identify military echelons moving local tracks or at the UKRZALIZNYTSIA transit stations.
Man managed to expose in advance. The operatives documented his crimes and detained the place of residence. The certificate of cooperation with the Belarusian special services was found during searches in the detainee. The basic points and logistics routes of Ukrainian defenders were safe.
The agent has already announced suspicion in the framework of the second part of art. 111 (state betrayal committed in conditions of martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He is threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
We recall that SBU captured a former police officer from Donetsk, who, before the beginning of a full war, moved to Dnipropetrovskiy and helped prepare terrorist attacks in the region. The traitor prepared four shelters with combat grenades, detonators and other SVP components in Pavlograd and Shakhtar.
