The Russians said that during the strike on the colony in Olenivka, only prisoners of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died.
The so-called commissioner for human rights of the fake education of the DPR Morozova, in a commentary to Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov, said that as a result of the strike, there were only Ukrainians who were killed and wounded, and the employees of the detention center in Olenivka were not injured.

Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, called Russia’s statements about the shelling of the detention center in the occupied Yelenovka, where Ukrainian prisoners of Azov were killed, a planned murder.

According to him, the purpose of this crime is to hide torture, disrupt the exchange of prisoners, discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Western weapons that have shown accuracy in their work, and turn the population of different countries against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Podolyak noted that this murder will be thoroughly investigated by the Attorney General’s Office and international investigation teams. He does not rule out that Russia will resort to this in the future.
The patronage service of the Azov regiment confirmed the information about the attack on the colony in Olenovka, where prisoners are kept.

In Olenovka, the occupiers set up one of the filtration prisons on the basis of the former Volnovakha correctional colony No. 120. It was here that more than 20 volunteers were kept, who took out Mariupol residents during the evacuation period.
