Arestovich considers it possible that the Russians killed Ukrainian prisoners of war the day before, and with the help of shelling they tried to hide their crime.
The Russians may have killed Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Yelenovka colony even before the shelling of the barracks. In this case, shelling out is just “covering the tracks” of the crime. About that expressed Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich on his Twitter account on Friday, July 29.
“Preliminarily, it is not so much (or not only) shelling, but it seems an attempt to remove the traces after the events that took place in the building. One of the main signs is that the people in the building did not disperse as if from an explosion, but it looks like charred bodies that were dead at the start of the fire,” he said.
According to him, pyrotechnics specialists, analyzing the Russian video from Yelenovka, drew attention to the fact that the picture looks like an explosion of a substance with a high burning temperature inside the building itself rather than the result of shelling.
Recall, according to Arestovich, residents of the temporarily occupied Yelenovka reported that the Russian invaders from Gradov opened fire on the colonies where Ukrainian prisoners of war were kept.
Earlier it was reported that Russia has decided to abandon the capture of the Donetsk region to keep the occupied south. Aleksey Arestovich, Advisor to the Office of the President, shared this opinion.
