In the first half of 2025, 805 new ritual companies were created, which was 16% more than the same period last year, analysts say.
Most of the funeral bureau registers were in suburbs, 57 companies were opened there (one more in the annual terms). In the Krasnodar territory, 42 such companies were registered (22%).
From January to April of this year, according to Rosstat, the country’s ritual services market increased by 12.7% years -to 39.5 billion rubles.
Among other factors for increasing the number of new funeral companies called market representatives, there is an increase in the funeral business margin. The union of funny organizations and crematoriums said that many Russians demand a funeral using a minimum basic set of services with compensation for state costs.
