Ukrainian sappers exploded while neutralizing the Russian drone in the Sumi region.
On Wednesday, July 23, the 30-year-old sergeant of the Civil Protection Service, the saper-operator of the Interregional Center for the quick reaction of the SES of Ukraine Oleg Petrenko, was killed in the humanitarian project of the liberated territories. The State Emergency Service informed the telegram.
It is noted that during the Russian FPV throne exploded during disposal. Two sapper were seriously injured. Both were hospitalized, but Petrenko’s injuries were incompatible with life.
The department was informed that the dead served in SES since 2022. Colleagues remember him as a person with a sincere heart – good, bold and devoted service.

We recall that on July 6 near the village of Ternov, the Kharkiv district, a car with civilians was blown up. As a result of the explosion, a 75-year-old driver and a 68-year-old passenger were injured, and a 52-year-old man received an acute stressful response.
