The German Foreign Ministry emphasized that the independence and power of Ukraine’s anti -corruption institutions is the key to recent reforms.
In Germany, they said Ukraine would be evaluated by the development of reforms. This is stated in a statement by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the adoption of the NABU repair and the SAP in the prosecutor’s office.
“The freedom and power of the Anti -Corruption Institutes of Ukraine has been key for reforms in recent years. Ukraine will continue to be reviewed by their development,” the X -Based X -On -Social Network said Tuesday night.
Note that on Tuesday the European Commission expressed serious concern for Verkhovna Rada’s decision to limit NABU’s independence and SAP. They noted that removing the major guarantees of NABU’s freedom is a serious step back.
Earlier, European Commission representative Guillaume Mersier commented that the European Union was concerned about the situation around Nabu and SAP. He recalled that the EU provides Ukraine with significant financial assistance that “subject to transparency, judicial and democratic administration reform.”
