The groups of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau and the specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office responded to protests against the adoption of the law that eliminated these two freedom institutions. This is stated in NABU and SAP messages, which were published on Tuesday night, July 22.
“The NABU team is sincerely struck by the support we see today at voluntary events in many cities of the country. We are grateful to everyone (…) we see this support as a sign of trust in our institution. And we will do everything we can to justify it,” said Nabu’s report.
They added that the decisive position of the youth is especially amazed.
Also, for support, they thanked the SAP.
“Despite the furious pressure and embarrassing decisions, we continue to fight for justice, honesty and honor. We are grateful to everyone who joins events in support of the anti -corruption organs! We appreciate each voice,” they wrote in SAP.
They added that the struggle continues, and to defend the independence of SAP and Nabu is a goal.
Remember that on Tuesday the Rada voted for the second reading for Bill No. 12414, limiting the independence of Nabu and SAP and making them dependent on the decisions of the General’s prosecutor.

At night, however, President Vladimir Zelensky signed the law. The president’s status status on the bill appeared, then disappeared, then reappeared. Also on Tuesday, for the first time for a long time, Zelensky has not released his traditional appeal at night.
