The problem of corruption in Ukraine is “exaggerated”.
Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko said this in an interview with Bloomberg.
The publication notes that in an interview, Sviridenko referred to the results of the survey, which showed that, although the vast majority believes that bribery is widespread, much fewer people have encountered such activities.
Honestly, in Ukrainian society and in some social groups this issue is amplified and exaggerated, ”Sviridenko said.
According to her, external observers “evaluate Ukraine with other indicators.”
Sviridenko also commented on the decision of the government, which rejected the candidacy of Alexander Tsvinsky to the post of chairman of the Economic Security Bureau, despite the fact that he was approved by the relevant competition for competition.
According to the Prime Minister, the government “acted in accordance with the established procedures: we received a candidate from the Commission for competition, collectively voted and sent a decision to the commission.”
