The US military has deployed six fifth-generation F-22 Raptor fighter-bombers to an air base in the Polish city of Lask. This is confirmed by the data of the command of the US Air Force in Europe on Friday, July 29.
The previous day, aircraft of the 90th Fighter Squadron, sent from Alaska, made an intermediate landing at Lakenheath Air Force Base in England.
According to the US Air Force Command in Europe, these aircraft will “strengthen the shield of NATO allies from the Baltic to the Black Sea.”

Six more F-22s are planned to arrive in Europe later. According to reports, they may be deployed at the Souda Bay base on the Greek island of Crete.
Earlier, the United States sent fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets to Germany to bolster NATO’s defenses. They are deployed at Spangdahl airbase.
