Türkiye is ready to re -accept negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation in Istanbul, if the dates appropriate for the parties will be determined.
Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The parties in particular discussed Russian-Ukrainian negotiations in Istanbul. Anadolu knew this on July 18.
Erdogan confirmed that Türkiye is ready to accept these negotiations once the parties agree with the relevant dates.
“President Erdogan said the beginning of the third cycle of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine is important, and Turkey will continue to organize in Istanbul once the corresponding dates for the parties are determined,” the Turkey leader’s office.
The Kremlin confirmed that Putin confirmed the willingness to seek for the “diplomatic negotiation of the conflict” and “thanked the willingness to contribute to the direct communication between Russia and Ukraine” on the Istanbul platform.
Also, Erdogan and the leader of the Russian Federation discussed Israel’s blows in Syria. The Turkish President said the argument after the removal of Syrian security forces from the city of Sabane threatened the entire region, and emphasized that it was important not to allow violations of Syria’s sovereignty of Israel. According to him, Türkiye sought to ensure stability and safety in the region and contributed to it as quickly as possible recovery.
