Medvedev published a map allegedly created by “Western analysts” with the division of the entire territory of Ukraine, except for the Kyiv region, among its neighbors.
The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the publication by the deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, of a “map” in which Ukraine is assigned exclusively to the Kyiv region, and the remaining territories are divided. in neighboring countries. The Romanian Foreign Ministry on Thursday, July 28, said it was part of Russian propaganda and disinformation.
In particular, the Romanian Foreign Ministry called Medvedev’s act “unsuccessful attempts to justify their own actions that violate the rules-based international order.”
“Some ‘suggestions’ and ‘analyses’ with random redrawing of state borders and incitement to violate international law are nothing more than completely unsuccessful attempts to justify their own actions that violate the rules based on the international order,” the ministry said in a comment.
The statement also said that Romania fully supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders and condemns Russia’s unprovoked and unjust aggression.
“Romania is and will remain a partner of Ukraine and confirms its full support and deep sympathy for the Ukrainian people,” the Foreign Ministry noted.
Earlier, Medvedev published a “map” on Telegram, where Ukraine is divided into parts, and its territory is part of other countries.
According to Medvedev, this map was created by “Western analysts,” but he did not name the names or institutions that may be involved in such a division of foreign territory.
