Prime Minister Denis Schmigal wrote a resignation statement.

The head of government on Tuesday, July 15, presented a request for a resignation at Verkhovna Rada. Schmigal reported this in Telegram.

I thank our defenders and defenders who save the front and preserve Ukraine! I thank the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky for his trust! I thank the whole team for the tireless work for our country! – The message says.

It is known that Denis Schmigal has been participating in the post of head of government for more than 5 years.

We recall that on July 13, Prime Minister Denis Schmigal met with President Vladimir Zelensky. According to its results, the head of state promised the “tangible transformation of management.”

And the next day, Zelensky said that he proposed to head the first vice-minister of Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko. He did this bypassing the Constitution, because the Basic Law of Ukraine provides that the head of state is presented for the post of Prime Minister on the proposal of the coalition of the deputy factions of the Verkhovna Rada.
