On Saturday evening, July 12, an 18-year-old girl turned to law enforcement officers and said that in the village of Mikhailvka-Rubetshivka, her father threatened her and her family with grenades and firearms. The police went to the house after arriving at the scene. At this time, the offender threw a grenade in security forces. The National Police of Ukraine reported this in Telegram.
In response, the police opened fire and shot a 41-year-old man. As a result of the explosion, five policemen were injured. They were hospitalized.
Law enforcement officers searched the attacker’s house and captured four pistols, a pyrotechnic grenade, a hunting rifle and a knife. Investigators opened a criminal proceedings in accordance with part of the first part of art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, battles or explosives) and art. 348 (an encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
We recall that on June 28 in Harkiva, he detained a man who threatened to blow up the F-1 grenade in the shopping complex, because he had a conflict with a stranger. Now the attacker is threatened by imprisonment for up to seven years.
