The report said grain deliveries were booked for February and March, but they were never sent due to a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. The state releases from contractual obligations companies that must deliver goods, even if the contracts do not provide for force majeure.
It should be noted that on Sunday, July 24, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov paid an official visit to the Egyptian capital Cairo. A Russian official from Egypt began his tour of Africa.
Russian media said that Lavrov met in Cairo with the Egyptian leader, where he conveyed a personal message from Putin, and the head of the Foreign Ministry.
It will be recalled that Russian missiles hit the port of Odessa a day after Russia and Ukraine, mediated by the UN and Turkey, signed an agreement to open Black Sea ports and resume grain exports. Moscow claims the missile hit military infrastructure.
It was previously reported that the press secretary of the President of Turkey, Ibrahim Kalin, said that the first ships could pass through the “grain corridor” in the next two weeks.
