In Zaporozhye, an attacker was exposed, who demanded money from the family of a dead warrior.
Law enforcement officers detained a relative of an officer of the KCC, who demanded a “remuneration” for unhindered registration of financial assistance to family members of a dead soldier. The attacker was captured, receiving part of the bribe. This was announced on July 8 by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Investigators found that the man used family ties with an official of one of the territorial centers of acquisition and social support of the region of Zaporji to get unlawful benefits. In 2024, he began to demand money from his native warrior to help in the unhindered subordination of documents, and then – registration and received one financial assistance as a member of the family of a dead soldier.
He demanded half of payments for his services. Within six months, the attacker was able to rise by more than 1.3 million gr.
The detainee has already reported suspicion in the framework of the 3rd part of art. 369–2 (abuse) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
We will recall that the fight against one of the military units of Donetsk -Region organized illegal payment of combat aids for almost a million hryvnias. Thus, he illegally released an additional monetary reward to three soldiers who were in the rear.
