The ISS issues orders to two leaders of the radical group of Taliban, which has been managing Afghanistan since 2021.
On July 8, the International Criminal Court issued a warrant addressed to the Supreme Leader of the Talibana Ahunddsad Hibatull and the Chairman of the Supreme Court Abdult Khakima Khakkani. The investigation believes that there are sufficient reasons to believe that these two terrorists have committed a crime against humanity. This was registered with the web, the ISS.
Both leaders of the Taliban are accused of pursuing girls, women on the gender sign and from the “inconsistency” of the Taliban policies regarding the sex, gender identity or self -esteem, as well as in the persecution of political motives for those who perceive “girls and women”. It is noted that these crimes in Afghanistan cover the period from August 15, 2021 and, at least January 20, 2025.
It is known that the UN registered discriminatory decrees and measures for women in Afghanistan since August 2021 since the Taliban came to power. Human activists have calculated that since then Taliba has published at least 126 decisions that deprive women and girls of fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as access to health and justice.
Recall that in February, US President Donald Trump accused the International Criminal Court of inadequate actions against his country, Israel and other American allies. He imposed sanctions on persons who help in the investigation of the ISS against American citizens or citizens of trade union states, as well as family members of such persons.
