The regional departments in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be the first and second European, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia and the Pacific Ocean, the Middle East and North Africa, Africa and regional African organizations. This will lead the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in European standards and practice.
The Office of the United States and Canada will disable Latin America and the Caribbean basin, since this is a separate area of work that cannot be “mixed” with Latin American affairs.
The functional distribution of deputies has been introduced. From this moment, we will have the first deputy, who will be the most responsible regions, Deputy Minister of European Policy, Deputy Minister of International Security, Deputy Minister for Global Affairs and State Diplomacy, Deputy Minister – CDTO for digitalization, writes Sibiga.
A special representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will now only be in Africa. The Middle East and North Africa (SO -the Brown region of Mena) “disconnect” into a separate department.
The structure creates a new separate management. For example, management of unfriendly countries. Not only Russia, but also its partners, such as North Korea or Belarus, will be included here.
Central Asia will be involved in separate management.
A separate management of the sanctions policy is also created.
The Department of Economic Diplomacy and Restoration will participate not only in the opening of new markets and assistance to Ukrainian exporters and attracting investments, but also by attracting international support in the restoration of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also creates a separate NATO Office. The Department of the European Union will work (we are talking about direct joining Ukraine in the EU).
Particular attention is our people abroad. Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had the Office of Foreign Ukrainians, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently creating a separate department of world Ukrainian and humanitarian cooperation.
The Department of International Law and International Legal Council with aggression will participate in the judicial persecution of Russia and Russians responsible for the committed atrocities.
The HR service will be called the personnel department and will be concentrated primarily on attracting new personnel and creating motivation.
The State Institute “Ukrainian Institute” and the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, named after G. Udovenko, which will be transformed into full higher education, will be provided with a new role and weight in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
