The Cabinet of Ministers decided on the initiative of the president on the introduction of a new payment – “Student Package”.
Prime Minister Denis Schmigal announced this on July 7 in his Telegram channel on July 7.
This will be monetary assistance in the amount of 5 thousand hryvnists to purchase the necessary stationery, books, children’s clothing and shoes for those who send their child to first grade in an autonomous format, ”said Skigal.
According to Prime Minister, each Ukrainian family will be able to receive a “packet of students”, the application will be submitted using the “action”.
Money can be spent exclusively in cash by paying a card for what is needed for the school, ”said Schmigal. – The Ministry of Social Policy should report all the details and information about the start of the application.
He added that the payment of 5 thousand US dollars will not affect the purpose of housing subsidies or other social benefits.
The launch of the student package is a small part of innovation, which are also designed to create conditions for Ukrainians to stay and work in Ukraine, ”the Prime Minister added.
