A full residential quarter for internally displaced persons from Mariupol will be built in Bila -Church.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Restoration of Ukraine-Development of Commons and Territories Alex Kuleb said this on a national phone, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
The project includes the construction of three residential complexes. For its sale, the land plot of communal property was already identified with an area of about 11 hectares.
It was noted that the project is funding for the Maripula community budget. It is expected that next week the government will make the necessary decision, which will allow you to start work. The first construction processes should begin this year.
According to Kuleb, the quarter will be formed on the basis of two decisions in residential premises:
- Municipal rent, which will be transferred to displaced persons in social conditions through a transparent distribution system;
- The predominant mortgage available to Mariyupols, who can buy housing, but need state support.
Priority groups are military personnel, veterans, families of the dead, large families and people with disabilities.
According to the minister, this project should be an example of a new type of housing policy, which can be scale in other regions of Ukraine.
