The United States helped Ukraine and will continue to do so in the future, the American leader promised.
The United States will continue to help Ukraine, but the situation at the end of the war in our country is difficult. US president Donald Trump announced this after a conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on Friday, July 4.
“Yes, we had a great conversation. We talked about different things … I think it’s a very strategic conversation,” he told reporters riding the Air Force One.
Trump made sure the United States helped Ukraine, “and we will continue to help them.”
When asked about the Ukraine supply, the missiles for Patriot Trump said: “They need them for defense. I don’t want to see how they kill people.”
At the same time, the American leader revealed the complexity of the war -aggravation and remembered a conversation with Vladimir Putin.
“This is a difficult situation. Let’s see what will happen next. I have told you that I am not satisfied with my conversation with President Putin, and he seems to want to go to the end and continue to kill people. It’s bad. I’m not satisfied,” said the US president.
Trump also said he discussed Putin sanctions against Russia.
“We talked a lot about penalties, so … I would say he’s not enthusiastic about it, but, you know, he can cope with the penalties, but these are rather painful penalties,” he said and added: “Yes, they can be, of course.”
Trump accused his predecessor president Joe Biden: “The situation in Ukraine is Biden’s dealings. Trump doesn’t deal with it. I’m just trying to finish it, solve it. And there we see. I don’t know. I can’t say if this happens … I want it to happen.”
On the eve of Zelensky spoke about Trump’s agreements. The American leader is very well known about the front situation in Ukraine and Russian wind strikes, the President said.
