It was noted that at a meeting of the leading Committee of the International Drones Coalition, which took place in Riga, the union of Belgium and Turkey in the alliance, led by Latvia and the UK, was approved.
So, now the coalition has 20 countries participating, providing support to Ukraine in an unacted direction. In 2025, coalition states pledged to allocate 2.75 billion euros with the help of Ukraine, of which 180 million were sent to the total extraction fund, conducted by the UK.
As mentioned in the ministry, these funds are designed both for the centralized acquisition of drone technologies of coalition forces, and for the implementation of national support programs within each participant country.
It should be noted that the Dronov Coalition was created in February 2024 as part of the contact group’s contact group in defense of Ukraine (Format Ramstein) and the Council of Ukraine-Nato. Its main purpose is to ensure Ukraine with drones, methods of electronic warfare and intelligence.
