The General Staff for the first time on his maps showed the front in the Sumi region and the advance of Russians in the region.
The map, which was published on July 1, shows which territory of the region the Russians and the directions of their promotion were captured. On the map of June 30, the General Staff only reflected the offensive of the Russian Federation in the region, noting it with red arrows from the state border of Ukraine.
Today’s cards also do not have blue marks under the judge, which meant Ukrainian control over the territory.
Since the beginning of May, the security situation in the Sumi region has deteriorated. Russia attacks not only the border, but also heals deep into the region. More than 52 thousand people were evacuated from the region to a month.
