The actions of law enforcement officials were connected to the export of large amounts of cash abroad in the first days of the war, Vitaly Glagola said.
In the Transcarpathian region, SBU officers are conducting searches at the Luzhanka checkpoint of Transcarpathian customs. Vitaliy Glagola, a deputy of the Uzhgorod city council, announced this on Telegram on Wednesday, July 27.
“As far as I know, more than 10 searches are being conducted on checkpoint workers at the same time,” he wrote.
The verb makes it clear that the actions of law enforcement officials were connected to the export of large sums of money abroad in the early days of the war.
“Suspicions are being prepared for people who helped bring millions of dollars in cash across the border unnoticed,” the deputy added.
Recall that the Bureau of State Investigation is investigating the movement of almost $ 30 million across the border. Transcarpathian customs officials are involved in this. According to media reports, the entire suitcase of money was brought by Anastasia Kotvitskaya, the ex-wife of Igor Kotvitsky, the people’s representative from the Popular Front. He took the money to Hungary.
